The Daily Bulldog is the only countywide news source in Franklin County that is locally owned. It is published by Daily Bulldog LLC, a corporation formed by Bobbie and Woody Hanstein, residents of Farmington since 1985. The Bulldog is edited by Bobbie Hanstein, who over the past 16 years both at the Lewiston Sun Journal and then, as the editor of the Franklin Journal, won numerous awards from both state and regional journalism organizations.
